09Aug04 Greg, I have been using your products for over a year now- specifically the 725 Degreaser; the Gun Lubricant, Cleaner and Preservative; and the Carbon Cutter. I have used these under a wide variety of conditions, from sub- freezing to 100+ degrees Fahrenheit; in blowing sand and in soaking rain. I have not been disappointed. As an example of how well the lubricant works, I'll relate an incident that occurred at Gunsite during a carbine class. I use a magazine on full auto at the beginning and end of the class to demonstrate the stability of the stance. On the last day a shooter came to the line and made ready. When he pressed the trigger the weapon fired a single shot, but failed to fully cycle. I had him clear the weapon and then I sprayed some of your lube onto the bolt and bolt carrier. The shooter manually cycle the action twice, and then attempted to fire. He fired the entire 28 rounds (from a very stable firing platform) in a single burst. This is neither isolated nor unusual. I keep a spray bottle of your lube on the line with me during every class. A great many shooters fail to understand that lubrication or cleaning is necessary. Indeed, many fail to put any lubrication on their guns at all, and are then mystified when they don't work. I will say without reservation that your products are the very best that I have ever used. Ever. The cleaner cleans. The lubrication lubricates. What a concept! The fact that they are non toxic and non hazardous makes it more attractive for sure. We have been subjected to a great many toxic gun care products in the past, and that does not make me feel very warm and fuzzy. Thank you for making a great product! Patrick A. Just received my shipment of your 'Carbon Cutter'. Why didn't you have this back in the late 1960's and early 70's when I was in Vietnam? If you wanted to make sure that your 'M16' went 'bang' and not 'oh! oh!, you spent at least two hours everyday making sure that everything from the firing pin to the bolt receiver assembly was clean and lubricated. Let me assure you, it took at least an hour after any action (combat) to use the wire barrel brush to get rid of the 'caked on' carbon from the gas tube and firing pin. Your product worked '"right in front of my eyes!". It's just what you need for a really great (light and accurate) weapon like the CAR-15 that has so many parts to clean. No wonder we often grabbed AK-47's off the dead VC or NVA. Not as accurate, but almost impossible to experience a jam and one of the best weapons for putting out 'grazzing' (believe me, I was on the receiving end) firing and only three part to clean. Thanks, Kenneth Klein MAJ (Ret) USAR |

My bolt and carrier were total soot black when I removed them from the rifle. Most of it would probably come off in regular solvent, but there was that chunk of bulletproof carbon that always forms on the back of the bolt on my rifles. I have never been able to get that off. I put some Slip2000 carbon cutter in a freezer baggie, dropped in the parts, and then floated it in my ultrasonic cleaner for an hour or so. It came out as nice bare metal. I wish I had a before picture, but 'before' was as bad as I have ever seen. I did not do any manual brushing on this bold face. Pics: http://www.photomosaic.com/gns/slip2000/ Mr. Silvers |

"I use the Thumb Buddy for my Kimber TLE II's full length guide rod
plug, and It works great. Total control upon removal of the plug, and
reinstalling it is just as easy. On and off so easy it's surprized a few
1911 owners. They have got one themselves or they use mine. Its so
simple yet very effective! I have to give it 2 thumbs up!!" "I also have some Slip 2000 Gun Lubricant that came the "Thumb Buddy" I ordered, but I haven't tried it in the TLE. I used it in my first Custom II, and did not have any problems. By the way, the Thumb Buddy sure makes the taking out of the recoil spring plug easy. I saw it advertised in one of the gun mags I read... American Handgunner or Combat Handguns. You can get one by calling Slip2000/SPS Marketing Inc. at 1-888-243-6725 or go to www.slip2000.com." "You can also look for a device to make it easier. The Thumb Buddy looks pretty nifty and makes hanging onto the spring plug easier. I just keep my hand over the plug so I can catch it if the bushing wrench slips. The more you do it, the easier it gets." |

Hello SLIP 2000 Staff, SLIP 2000 is the most amazing stuff. Having now used it in my 390 Beretta for 3 years and love it. I shoot about 250-300 shells an outing and the gun just keeps on running. I use it on my choke tubes rather than that sticky grease and my tubes spin out by hand. No wrench required. Cold, hot, rainy, SLIP 2000 works all the time. Not a jam, failure to cycle, misfire, not anything. Great stuff. I am getting everyone at the sporting and skeet ranges hooked. A couple of months ago, a guy with a Browning over under Feather model could not get his bottom barrel to fire reliably. It would dent the primer but no fire. He claimed to have cleaned the trigger assembly and lubed it up good with brand X oil. I pulled out my SLIP 2000, put a drop of it in the firing pin hole and it has not missed a beat since. He now uses nothing else. Another shooter showed up during the late summer with a new over under that was really stiff and hard to open the action. Again a shot of SLIP 2000 and it became so much easier to open up. Now he is a dedicated SLIP 2000 user. Thanks for such a wonderful product line. Jeff |

SLIP 2000, Last week at the sporting range a friend showed up with an old Remington model 11-47. He had tore it apart and cleaned and lubed it up good with brand X. The gun would not cycle out the first shell. He was about to throw the thing into the weeds so I gave him my SLIP 2000. He lubed up the gun good with it and a miracle, the gun now cycled all his shells. The only thing he said was, "I should have listened to you earlier about SLIP 2000." Thanks from a very satisfied customer |

Mr. Conner, SLIP 2000 I cannot say enough about SLIP 2000. Great lube and protection. Further the choke tube cleaner and the degreaser work great. Hard to believe that the entire product line works this well. If every chain has a weak link, I have not found it in the SLIP 2000 chain. Are you a publicly traded company and how can I buy stock?!?! |

Dear Mr. Conner, Back in August you sent me samples of SLIP 2000 and 725 Cleaner/Degreaser. The samples wound up in my firearms locker and I forgot about them until recently. I have handed out the samples of SLIP 2000 to 4 of the higher ups in my department and I am waiting to hear how they like SLIP 2000. I decided to put your products to the test on a 30'06 rifle that I had not cleaned in a couple of months after a high power rifle match. Your 725 Cleaner really cuts through the crud in a dirty rifle barrel. My only question on the 725 Cleaner is, does it get rid of copper fouling? I found one area that 725 Cleaner is great in. I have a couple of air rifles that get quite a great deal of lead build up from the pellets that I fire through them. I really don't like to use a regular bore cleaner in the air rifles due to the fact that the seals in the rifle may be damaged by the cleaners. Since SLIP 2000 and the 725 Cleaner doesn't contain petroleum distillates, I tried the 725 Cleaner in the air rifle bores. I was really happy to see the excellent results in getting rid of the lead build up followed with SLIP 2000. Well I have to go now, got a call. Sincerely, John C. Driskill |

Dear SLIP 2000, It is hard to tell when a product like yours works, because everything is working as it should. It is much easier to tell when such a product doesn't work, because the failure is obvious. Your product appears to be working as it is supposed to. I guess that I can't tell if my patches come out any cleaner or more dirty, but it appears that I'm spending less effort in cleaning than before. I use grease on all moving surfaces of my o/u guns, but I've been using SLIP 2000 on the extractors and I've had no problems with them being sluggish since using it. It appears to be an excellent product, and I hope that you are doing well with it. Thanks for the sample - I have purchased another bottle. John P. Matthews |

Greg, There have been several products that have come along and claimed a lot of things. These products have usually been fairly expensive. Before I would carry a new product, I needed to be sure it does what it claims to do and is worth what you have to pay for it. Most of the people I deal with are IPSC shooters in Florida. This means we shoot a lot of bullets through our semi autos in extreme heat. Needless to say a good gun lube is important. So far SLIP 2000 has out preformed all that I have ever tested or used. Thanks for a great product. Ray Lambert |

SLIP 2000 Sales At the Milford Gun club this morning someone had posted an 81/2X11 notice on the painted, steel door of the gun safe with duct tape. General manager Jim Seitz was trying to remove the tape's gummy residue by all means available to him; putty knife, "Goo Gone", pocket knife, etc. I noticed a very recognizable odor emanating from the "Goo Gone", which is a citrus fragrance, petroleum distillate product advertised for this purpose, and that leaves an oily residue. I went to my car trunk and got out my 14 oz. spray can of SLIP 2000 "725" gun cleaner and degreaser. It did the job with one application and a wipe off with a white terry cloth rag. No oily residue, no odor, no muss, no fuss. Unfortunately, the bulk of the daily shooters weren't there yet to witness this, but I think enough were there to get the word out and around. |

My name is Mark Stevens. I spoke with your rep. at the 2002 National Police shooting championships in Jackson Mississippi on Sept. 24th this year. I received your product and used it on my firearms before shipping them home. 4 days after getting back to MI. I received my guns from my friend that drove back (I flew). It should be noted that the day I put my guns up it was raining and all of my pistols were wet. I wiped them down, picked them up and was impressed with the protection that your product gave my guns. They looked as if I had just done a thorough cleaning, not a spot of rust anywhere! I'm also a firearms instructor for my dept. and I told some others about the product and its' "Safe" ingredients and environmentally safe make up. That means a lot to a firearms staff that spends hours with cleaning product on their hands. Can you please let me know what the cost of a "sample kit" containing all of your products would be. I'm trying to get my dept. to order SLIP 2000 for our guns (870's AR 15's and smith auto's).
Thanks for your time. Mark Stevens |

Good Morning, Just a quick note to share some feedback on your products. I just returned from a hunt for Arctic Island Caribou and Musk Ox in the Canadian Arctic, Cambridge Bay on Victoria Island. I used your 725 Gun Cleaner/ Degreaser and Gun Lube to prepare the guns that we took. Our guns worked perfectly, in spite of the average temperature of -20 degrees. We stayed in a tent on the Shore of the Queen Maud Gulf and all our other gear froze solid and developed a thick layer of frost each morning. I will be using your products on all of my rifles, shotguns, muzzleloaders and pistols in the future. Thanks for the great products!! |

Hello Greg: The SLIP 2000 products are definitely superior to the other cleaning products that I have been using. I followed the instructions on the product labels and the cleaners and lubricant work as advertised. The guns looked new again. I spent a few hours at the range shooting my favorite single action pistols with cowboy action loads (lots of lead and fouling). The clean up was a breeze. I simply dropped the cylinders in the gas piston and choke tube cleaner while I used a nylon brush to clean the pistol frames. I pushed patches trough the bore and the solution removed all the fouling with little effort. The cylinders looked brand new after using your product and a nylon brush. Cleaning took half the normal time and effort. What's in this stuff? The lubricant has done a fantastic job while the pistols were stored in the safe. One of my friends commented during our next session, "is that new?" I explained it was not and he had shot it before but now it was truly clean. Thanks for making the products! Phil Hill |

Hello SLIP 2000 I read about your SLIP 2000 in the North American Hunter. The SLIP 2000 products are fantastic. That gas piston and choke tube cleaner really works. I fired several hundred rounds in my AR15 during my last visit to the range. During the cleanup I soaked the bolt and bolt carrier assembly in the gas piston and choke tube cleaner while I cleaned the upper receiver with the 725 cleaner degreaser. After a slight brushing the parts were clean! These products are amazing! Finally, I generously lubricated the rifle, bolt, and carrier assembly. Upon reassemble of the weapon you could see that the SLIP 2000 lubricant soaked into the pores in the metal. This stuff is great. Thanks, Joe |

Greg Conner You cleaned my Browning at Camp Perry. I must say, the next time I cleaned it was much faster and eaiser. I gave the choke cleaner you gave me to my friends who where already using SLIP 2000 they said the cleaner did a fast job on the chokes. I will be using SLIP 2000 from now on and telling my club members about your product. Thanks for time you gave me at Camp Perry cleaning my over n under browning, you got a new customer. I will be at the grand this week I think you said you will miss it if not maybe I will see you. Thanks, Dan Kelley, Huron, Ohio |

SLIP 2000 Sales Department, Just wanted to drop you an email and thank you for your product. I purchased and used the SLIP 2000 choke cleaner for the first time. What a product! It does everything you claim which is a rarity these days. I couldn't believe the plastic that came out of my chokes AFTER I had already cleaned them with a brush. Your product is amazing. Thanks again, Paul Clayton |
|
Hello SLIP 2000!!! I have tried just about every new "wonder oil" that has come out in the last few years but none of them did what they claimed. However, after one good cleaning with your SLIP 2000 product, I could clean the barrel of my automatic with one or two swipes with a bore snake instead of 15 to 20 minutes with a brush chucked into a drill and this was after 1500 rounds over a few days of practice! Even the chamber came out clean which usually took quite a scrubbing to get the baked on crud out of. I now use SLIP 2000 on all my auto's and have never had a failure even when I have totally abused my Beretta during practice sessions. Thanks for making the cleanup chore easier! Sincerely, Joseph Hardage, M.D. |

Sales Staff, Just wanted to let you know that the guys from SLIP 2000 were at the TM shoot and I saw the guy from SLIP 2000 at the Willows Friday and Saturday. He cleaned a 390 on Friday that I used the day before and you would not believe what it did for the gun, the gun was so dirty that It took all he had to get It apart. I saw it with my own eyes this gun looked like a new gun when he was done. I am sold on this stuff. It removed all of my plastic from my chokes and it just took two wipes with a bore snake. The blonde haired guy knows his stuff about guns. Not just salesmen like most of the others, And a nice guy at that. I Don't remember his name but if someone knows what his name is please tell me. Bill and Cathy Keller |

Hi, Just want to relate my recent experience with SLIP 2000 in my 12 Ga. shotgun. It's a SxS that I have had for about two years. Most of my shooting is at clay targets and all of my cleaning until about two months ago has been with other brands. After my first SLIP 2000 cleaning I shot a case of shells and found absolutely no plastic or lead fouling in the barrels. I then cleaned the gun with a few strokes of more SLIP 2000 and the next week shot over a case of shells. Still no plastic or lead on the barrel surfaces. This is great stuff and it's safe and smells good too. Thanks! |

Hello friends, Thanks for the sample of SLIP 2000. I used it on my trap, skeet, &sporting clays shot guns,, I love it ! I will not be using any more of my ''gun oils''. It performs exactly as you say. I especially like because it will not harm the wood. Also it is not greasy or oily. Its a great product for guns. I want to purchase this great product & carry it in my hard gun cases. Thanks again, I remain a very satisfied customer. Pete.. |

Hi There SLIP 2000 I just wanted you all to know how satisfied I am with SLIP 2000. It has reduced the cleaning time in half on my Krieghoff. I simply spray a little SLIP 2000 down the barrel and run a bore snake though it and then run a clean patch with SLIP 2000 on it and that's all there is. I was so impressed with your product, I have added a link from my homepage to your website. I only do this with products that I have used and recommend. Thanks Again, Don Myers, Birmingham, AL |

Greg, WOW!!!!!!!!!! What a great product. Cleaned my TM1. No more plastic in the choke or porting areas. Easy to work with. 27 year old gun is like new. I'm impressed!!!!!!!! Regards, Dave |

Great Product, After using over 10 different oils in the last 8 years, I have found that SLIP 2000 works better than any other lubricant I have ever used. It only takes a few drops to go a long way and you don't have to worry about build up of gun powder or plastic from the wading. You can shoot all day and not worry about lack of lubrication. I feel that SLIP 2000 has helped improve my score. Thank you SLIP 2000. |

Hi- I've tried the sample of SLIP 2000. I use it in my shotgun bores and like it. How do I order more/where is my local distributor? Craig, Rochester, PA |

SLIP 2000 Gun Lube, Thank you for your free samples that were provided to the Air Force Skeet Team. I'm sure that we cannot indorse a product with our name or individually. But I must say that the arrival of the SLIP 2000 has now been welcomed by me. I normally shoot my 11-87 dry (but not any more), but recently while shooting in Phoenix at the Armed Forces, the weather was a little too dry for it. I didn't bring any oil with me as I don't usually us any, but I had the SLIP 2000. I didn't think much of it anymore than any other oil, until I completely cleaned the gun and applied a thin layer of the oil on my magazine tube and other moving parts. I can tell how the metal sorta absorbs it and provides a long lasting film. But best of all, is the next time I cleaned the magazine tube. Cleanup was minimal! I suppose I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for your product that works as advertised. US Airforce Skeet Team |

SLIP 2000 Breaking 500 NSCA 5-Stand targets in 30 minutes and 31 seconds is a lot of shooting and with SLIP 2000 I did not have one malfunction. I have set four world records for shooting clay targets and I count on SLIP 2000 for unsurpassed performance. 500 NSCA 5-Stand targets in 30 minutes and 32 seconds 27 NSCA 5-Stand targets in 60 seconds 500 NSSA Skeet targets in 42 minutes with a 28 gauge 22 NSSA Skeet targets in 60 seconds with a 28 gauge. Thanks for the GREAT product, Scott Hutchenson / Guinness Book of World Records. |

Hey, Guys ! Thanks for following-up ! After using the sample I bought SLIP 2000 and have been using it exclusively. Thanks for a great product, Charlie |
|
Thanks, I got my sample in the mail yesterday; I will try it on the weekend. I spoke with a friend of mine who got a sample at the Grand. He is very impressed and will be looking for a supplier up here. Let me know when you get a supplier up here if that is possible. I have a Ponsness Warren reloader and am wondering if I can use SLIP 2000 as the lubricant in place of the PW grease? Thanks, Bill Malcolm |

Greg: I just used SLIP 2000, the free be I got in the mail some time ago, and it worked great. My son had some rust on his B-325 and SLIP 2000 with some very fine steel wool took it off. I thought that the blueing would come off too, but it did not. Keep up the good work. Frank Horodyski Highland, N.Y. |

SLIP 2000, I have used 2-16 oz. containers of your piston cleaner to keep the parts clean on both of my 11-87's. I use one for trap, and the other for skeet and sporting. It's a good product, and I plan to use it regularly. I usually let the o-ring and parts soak overnight for a quick and easy cleanup the next day. I also use the SLIP 2000 on the mag. tubes. It would be nice if the 2000 was sold in a spray bottle for a light spray over the trigger assembly. Just a suggestion. Bob |

Thanks for the sample you sent many months ago. It is refreshing to use a product that lives up to its hype. I saw your post on the trapshooters.com web site and sparked my interest again, that and finally running out of the sample. I ordered your starter kit today, what a great deal it is, I printed a copy of it to post at our gun club. Just wanted to say thanks for bringing such a great product to market. Greg Cobbs |
|
Hi folks, Ordered your SLIP 2000 starter kit and love the product. I thought the larger bottle of lubricant was suppose to be in a spray type bottle. Can I simply put the spray head from the cleaner on the 2000 bottle. Thanks again for a great product.......Rich |
|
Thanks for all the information that you have given me about SLIP 2000 on trapshooters.com. Gamaliel's said that they were going to get more 2000 in on 05/20 and that they would send it out as soon as they it came in? I did get a can of 725 gun cleaner from them and it is safe to say that it is my new favorite cleaner and I will be buying more of it. I did get a chance to use your product last night, a friend of mine had a sample bottle he got at the grand with him and he put a little on my gun rag and I used it on the receiver of my BT 100. I was immediately impressed with the fact that my fingers were not oily feeling and it did clean up nicely.
Is there any chance that I could get you so send some samples for our club to give away at our up coming fun shoot. Many of our local shooters are not ATA shooters and have not had a chance to get your give away samples at the Grand. Thanks for everything, Lee Turk |
|
Hello Greg; Thanks for the information. Another benefit of your cleaners is one you didn't mention at all in your literature, but I featured it in the article. Normally, you get a lot of crud on your fingers handling dirty gun parts. With petroleum based products, you have to use Lava soap and scrub a lot to remove this black deposit of propellant residue and grease. With your products, just soap and water will do it, as I found out when I tested your products on a very dirty Mini-14 and a Heckler & Koch P7. Thanks for your help. Tony Lesce |
|
Craig, The package arrived today. There was three 16 oz jars in the package, that's more than the quart I loss. Thank you for a great product and outstanding customer service, I've got nothing but good to say. Best regards, Pat |
|
Greg: Have been using the samples you gave me and have been very happy with the results. I've passed out all the small packets you gave me and am waiting to get comments back from the practitioners. I've replaced my bench oils/lubes with SLIP 2000 and use it every day! I ordered an extra bottle from Brownells just to make sure I wouldn't run out. Thanks again, and stop by the shop any time you're in the area. Sincerely, Jim |
